About the Park

Ross Park caters exclusively for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents and welcomes families and couples only.

With Dartmoor on the doorstep, Ross Park enjoys beautiful views of the moor as well as the surrounding countryside.  It’s also just a short distance from the popular coastal resort of the English Riviera making this a great base from which to tour and explore. 

A family run park, Ross Park offers everything you need for a perfect break, with plenty to keep everyone occupied, including your four-legged friend!

Families, children and adults alike will love the on-park facilities available throughout the season. From our centrally heated amenities block and restaurant to our dog exercise area and indoor and outdoor play areas – there’s lots for everyone to enjoy. Take a closer look below…

Centrally Heated Amenities Block
The amenities block is fully tiled and centrally heated with free hot water to all showers and sinks and includes baby changing and disabled facilities. There is an additional toilet block and a dish-washing room.

The Barn Bar & Restaurant

Run by Jane & Andy, The Barn Bar & Restaurant is open Monday – 5pm to 10:30pm. Tuesday to Saturday – 9am to 1pm for breakfast, drinks, lunch and 5pm to 10:30pm for dinner and drinks (last order for food 9pm). Sunday – 12pm to 9pm for lunch, dinner and drinks. Tropical Conservatory
For a taste of the Tropics you can explore our Tropical conservatory, which is attached to the restaurant. Indulge in a cup of coffee and surf the internet whilst surrounded by the many spectacular and unusual plants, or dine-in when the restaurant is open. Your dogs are welcome to accompany you in here at any time.

Dog Exercise Area
Ross Park is a dog-friendly park and responsible owners are always welcome to bring their pets. Dogs love to come off their leads in the large dog walk area. To preserve the inside of your tourer, or simply to give your dog a treat, a dog shower (with hot water) and hair dryer are provided for a nominal fee.

Conservation Areas
Ross Park has become a haven for wildlife and insects, whilst providing wonderful areas for relaxing walks with easy access. A huge variety of birds can be found nesting around the Park and the hundreds of different wildflowers, shrubs and trees are chosen to encourage as many species of birds, butterflies and insects as possible.

Undercover Space

We have two table tennis tables (bats can be hired from reception), a skittle alley, games room with a TV, pool table and other games for hours of amusement.

In the launderette there are four washing machines and three tumble-dryers, facilities for hand-washing, a clothes-horse and free ironing facilities.

For adults only – the snooker room is situated off the patio and offers the use of a full size snooker table in quiet, comfortable surroundings.

We no longer run a site shop, due to the newly owned well stocked Spar shop at the end of the road. We do however still sell gas.
