Park Amenities
Only families or couples are accepted and Ross Park caters exclusively for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents.
Our Park has a variety of spacious pitches: hardstanding with and both open plan and individually landscaped grass
pitches, all of which have 16A electric hook-up and many have water hook-up.
There are additional water taps, ample
waste and chemical waste points and a dump point for motorhomes. Many pitches have spectacular views of Dartmoor
and the surrounding countryside.
At Ross Park we offer you the following facilities:
Centrally heated amenities block
A fully tiled and centrally heated amenities block complete with baby changing and disabled facilities is provided,
with free hot water to all showers and sinks. There is also a separate toilet block. A dish-washing room is provided,
complete with a large freezer for your convenience.
 Bar and Restaurant
During the day, there is lounge area for relaxing and reading, whilst in the evening the New Barn Restaurant offers
an extensive menu that aims to cater to all tastes - with separate smoking and non-smoking areas, it is well
patronised by our guests. For people who don't wish to dine, the mezzanine bar offers a friendly welcome and does
away with worries about drinking and driving.
Tropical conservatory
For a taste of the Tropics you can explore our Tropical conservatory in
which we grow many unusual and spectacular plants.
 Dog exercise area
Ross Park is a dog-friendly park and responsible owners are always welcome to bring their pets. Our four-legged
friends are provided with specially reserved exercise areas where they can run free, and to preserve the inside
of your tourer, or simply to give your dog a treat, a dog shower (with hot water) and hair dryer are provided.
Conservation Areas
At least two thirds of our 27 acres are devoted to green open space, creating a mini nature reserve that has
become a haven for wildlife and insects and provides wonderful areas for relaxing walks. Many different varieties
of birds can be found nesting around the Park, as well as hundreds of wildflowers and trees.
 Play areas
Outdoor - there is a large leisure field adjacent to the main park for outdoor activities and our
children's play area is equipped with three activity centres. Croquet lawn and badminton and volley ball
Undercover - there are table tennis tables and a skittle alley and a games room with a TV, pool table and other games.
Snooker room
For adults only - the snooker room is situated off the patio and offers the use of a full size snooker table in quiet,
comfortable surroundings.
Tourist Information
Our well-equipped and constantly updated tourist information chalet offers leaflets and flyers on many of the local
attractions, from castles and National Trust properties to wildlife parks and go-carting.
 Site Shop
Our small, but well stocked, shop sells all of the essentials including: newspapers,
fresh bread and milk, as well as camping and caravan accessories and Calor Gas.
Launderette
The launderette has token and coin operated washing machines and dryers, a clothes-horse and free ironing facilities.
During peak season, barbeques and free family entertainment are provided on Sunday evenings to which everyone is welcome.
